Psychological Counselling


Individual Counselling : Students facing problems in studies, relationships, violence, adjustment and other behavioural problems.

Group Counselling : In the form of structured life skills from classes I to XII.



Peer Education : Classes conducted by doctor, counsellor and class XI students on growing up and other Adolescence related issues.



Social Maturity Scale : administered on students from  classes Pre Nursery to Class II, to assess social and emotional aspects of personality.

 

Identification and Screening of Children with Special needs : Learning disabilities and other behavioural and emotional problems.
    
Career Counselling


A career development programme is conducted in the month of April-May to brief the students regarding the wide range of career options available after class XII.
Main features of the programme are as follows:
• Field visits to various Industries/ Institutes to give first hands on experience to students.
• Talks/ Sessions by eminent personalities/professionals from various walks of life.
• Aptitude test for the students of classes X and XII to help them know their ability for a particular course / career..
    
Interaction with Parents


Counselling is given to students as well as parents during Parent Teacher Meetings scheduled in the year calender. Parents can also meet the school counsellor by taking prior appointments.
