Literary Club
The literary club has been bifurcated into the Editorial Board and Newspaper in Education (NIE)
The members of the Editorial Board undertake several tasks to showcase the school as a society and maintain the records of the various events that take place in the school. Charts are designed for the club display board every month and book reviews of the latest books available in the literary are written.
The students of the club are provided the training to interview the guests, dignitaries and resource persons visiting the school. Also the newsletter(Reflections) and other school publications are complied by this club.
In NIE students are trained for group discussions, article writing on the topics given by the various newspapers and sent for publishing. Film reviews, debate, extempore, declamation are a part of the club activities.
Japanese Language
The Japanese Activity Club aims at imparting knowledge to students learning Japanese Language about the culture of Japan.
By knowing the culture and mannerism, students can relate with the language in a better way. Activities like origami, calligraphy, Japanese cuisine, song, movies etc. are organized during the activity periods.
French Language
The purpose of the club is to give students an opportunity to practice and refine their communication skills in French language.
Various activities such as French song, poem, poetry, films, and Situational role play deepens their understanding of French culture and society.
Mathematics club(Classes VI – VIII)
Objective – This club looks into enhancing mathematical and logical skills and inculcating the habit of visualizing a problem and then solving it. It also includes hands on practical activities. The club gives a chance to students to explore new ideas and techniques to tackle a problem. Schedule during activity periods:
v To cover the practical aspects of a problem
§ Students have been divided into various groups to perform various activities to clarify/enhance the conceptual knowledge.
§ They maintain a club notebook to keep the record of the work done during the period.
v To enhance the mathematical and logical skills, various online puzzles/games are solved/played by the students.
In classes IX and Xstudents are working for lab manual with emphasis given on fast calculations by short cut methods.
Science Club
Science plays an important role in studying various phenomena taking place inside or outside the body of an organism. It deals with physical and chemical processes happening in our surrounding. In order to develop scientific temperament in all age groups, activity club is categorized into 4 groups.
1) Eco-Science (VI-VIII) – Young minds need to be stimulated and motivated. Through this club students are given hands on experience to make their concepts more clear.
2) Green DNA(IX – XI) –Here students of DNA club perform various activities formatted by DNA club. Students go for institutional visits and watch movies on environment. Also eminent personalities are invited to deliver their lecture as per schedule. This club also compiles the report which needs to be submitted at the end of the year to CSE. Audit is conducted and various parameters are maintained to keep a check on school environment.
3) Chemistry in action (IX – XI) – Students who are interested in chemical reactions taking place in the body or around the living beings, carry out experiments in the laboratory. The students are taught to handle equipments safely while dealing with experiments to develop a sense of responsibility.
4) Innovative Science (IX – XI) – This club basically carries out all physics related activities. Students are taught about space and life in it.
Social Science Faculty- Heritage Club
Quiz (VI - XI):
· This club Prepares the students for future competitions like CBSE Heritage Quiz.
· Inculcate the habit of speaking and discussing the various aspects of a particular topic.
· Develops the skill of analyzing among the students through various topics.
· Quiz is conducted on various topics during activity periods.
Museum (VI-XI):
Students of this club are involved in :
· Documentation cataloguing and analysis of artifacts, manuscripts, coms and textile in the museum.
· Spreading awareness on the tangible and intangible Heritage of India by developing the Museum.
Computer Science
1) Little Masters (II-III) :

The aim of this is to develop logical and sequential thinking skills among the youngsters by introducing them to one of the easiest programming language i.e. MSW-LOGO.
2) Innovators (IV-V) :
Skills : MS-Power point
The aim of this club is to enhance the presentation and soft skills of the students. Students are mentored to create effective presentations and to present the same to the audience.
3) Animators (VI-XI) :
Skills : Flash MX
The aim of this club is to develop the visualization and creativity among the students. Students are introduced to various animation techniques and are groomed to create effective animations. This helps to make the students a better animator in field of gaming and cartooning.
4) Brain Teasers (VI – XI) ;
Skills : Visual Basic
The aim of the club is to strengthen the programming skills of the students using Visual Basic. Students are taught various programming techniques to create various utility programs.
